Jurassic World Evolution 3—Latest News (October 2025)

Frontier Developments has officially announced Jurassic World Evolution 3, the next entry in its popular park-management series. The game is set to release on October 21, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

This third installment expands the formula dramatically, introducing juvenile dinosaurs, a breeding and generational system, and over 80 species, most with full family life cycles. Players can now raise dinosaurs from hatchlings to adults, observe their social hierarchies, and pass down traits across generations.

Park customization has also been deepened with modular construction tools, terrain sculpting, and expanded scenery options, letting players design more realistic and diverse parks than ever before. The global campaign spans new regions, including Japan and Hawaii, offering fresh environmental challenges and storylines.

A short controversy surrounded the announcement when the developers confirmed they had used AI-generated portraits for park scientists, but after fan backlash, Frontier decided to replace them with hand-crafted artwork created by human artists.

The game will launch in two editions:

  • Standard Edition – base game.
  • Deluxe Edition—includes additional dinosaur species, cosmetic items, and a “Badlands Pack” inspired by the original Jurassic Park dig sites.

Early gameplay footage has impressed fans with its improved visuals, lifelike animal behavior, and seamless transition between management and cinematic camera modes.
